We are new to Florida and this park is perfect for a family day out. My children saw lots of colorful fish and had a blast. The beach was clean and there was no sea weed. I would recommend taking her family there.

Agreed that the price of parking has become a little ridiculous, but here is what we do, if you don't mind walking a little. Park on Palmetto Park Rd. between A1A and the Intracoastal. The whole strip of public beach in Boca is as close to pristine as you'll find in the area. There's a lot of shallow water, which is great for kids, and the water is super-clean--you might even see fish swimming at your feet!

Excellent place to take kids or just to be alone with you and yours. Not very crowded(a big plus) and the hours are great. The prices are a bit much on a regular basis.Too many boardwalk acquisitions closed off. Need repair.

Very nice park with good hours but its now almost $20 to get in. That is a little ridiculous.

It is a really great place to take the kids. I felt safe snorkeling with my young daughter and she was in heaven watching all the fish. One time we saw a big school of barracuda just sitting on the bottom, that did make us a little nervous, but enjoyed the experience.

Nice beach, Moderately crowded. Actually $12 for admittance on the weekend, which is a little pricey for regular visits.
