I agree this is the most loveliest beach that I've been to in FL. I have lived in N. Miami and used to enjoy Dania beach near Hollywood which is probably a 3 star. I found this site to research dog beaches but it didn't have any info. One part said they were allowed on marked beaches but another part said they weren't allowed. I'd like to know approximate location of dog beach as we've not found it yet & would like to go there occasionally in the mornings with our Chinese Cresteds.

This is really the greatest beach on the planet. The sand is fantastic and the beach is cleaned and raked every single day. You can see the ocean from the awesome bars on the street as well as watch nice people and fabulous cars go by. There is a always some live band playing nearby -- sipping your beer while swimming in the ocean is a delight.

It is very crowded .but at the same time so much fun if you are younger, of course..
