Also known as "The Turtle Place," the Marinelife Center is a non-profit education and conservation facility. It's mission is to conserve and preserve the marine environment through education, research and rehabilitation. The marinelife center hosts turtle walks in the spring and summer, when mother turtles lay their eggs on the beach. The organization also helps rehabilitate sick and injured sea turtles.

Watchable wildlife: Brown pelicans, laughing and ring-billed gulls, terns, and a variety of shorebirds are seen from the beach. Look for sea turtle tracks on the beach on summer mornings. (March 1, 2006)
