With the world's largest Tiffany stained-glass dome, marble mosaics and elegant lighting fixtures, Preston Bradley Hall, on the third floor of the Chicago Cultural Center, provides a grand backdrop for classical music concerts. The 1897 building, which originally housed the main branch of the Chicago Public Library, now is a thriving home for all sorts of art-related events. The air-conditioned Preston Bradley Hall is the setting for many musical performances, including the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts, a free weekly series (Wednesday, 12:15 p.m.).
