Pompano Park Racing & Poker 1800 SW Third St. Pompano Beach, FL 954-972-2000 x1506 Pompano Park Racing features harness, thoroughbred and jai-alai simulcasting seven days a week year round, starting most days at noon. Live harness horse racing beginning at 7:25 p.m. is held Friday and Saturday in the early fall; Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in the late fall; Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday through the spring; and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday through the summer. Post time is always at 7:15 p.m. The park features Top of the Park restaurant and Patten's Place lounge, open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (954-972-2000, ext. 1264 for reservations) . The poker room is open every live race day from noon to midnight. The park is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, and Easter Sunday.
