Gorgeous beach - great for swimming & families with small children because there are no waves; great park altogether. Go during the week if you can - the beach gets a bit crowded on the weekends. Boaters' Grille is great for local flavor. The only thing missing is a boat ramp. Well worth the trip from anywhere in S. Fla.

i have been to this beach everytime i come to miami. not crowded at all very good parking close to the beach.bbq grills are availible and plenty of them there.
