Porn and wine can make for a great evening at home, but wine actually made by a porn star may seem, well, kind of icky. Yet one of the least icky porn stars in the biz, Savanna Samson (pictured), introduced her own vintage in late February. At a launch party at La Masseria Restaurant in New York, the Vivid Video vixen introduced Sogno Uno (Dream One), a limited-edition blend of Italian grapes that received a high rating from wine critic Robert M. Parker. According to Decanter.com, the launch was supposed to coincide with the New Year, but problems with the label caused a holdup. No, it wasn't the provocative profile of Samson draped in a see-through dress and stripper heels that delayed gratification but rather the wine's designation, because the grapes hail from different regions. Samson really did have a hand in production, as she tasted 80 different samples of Italian wines before stating a preference for the Cesanese grape, which makes up 70 percent of the blend. The New York-based porn queen, whose husband is a wine merchant, initially thought she would just market her wine at strip clubs, but apparently, she received such positive feedback that it will be widely distributed here and abroad, retailing for $38 a bottle.
