If you notice an inordinate number of pale-skinned, wild-eyed nightcrawlers stalking the streets of South Florida this week, don't fret: These aren't vampires. Instead, they are attendees of the 21st annual Winter Music Conference, which is expected to attract more than 40,000 DJs, label heads and the like from 60-plus countries. The conference is an industry-oriented affair filled with seminars and workshops on how to activate a glow stick and whatnot, but we're not concerned with all that. For music fans, the WMC means one thing: parties, and more than 280 of them. Following are our picks for the week's most promising events. For more parties, see Wmcon.com.
