As the old joke goes, college is often the best four or five years of a person's life -- much longer if said person is a doctoral student, professor or hippie. Regardless, the college experience can be a life-changing one, a simultaneously educational, frightening and drunken transition from adolescence to adulthood. City Link's annual Back to School Issue may not make this transition any smoother, but it should at least render the idea -- or the memory -- of sitting through another lecture on Reconstruction less enervating. On the following pages, you'll find a guide to the area's best college nights, an interview with the man who wants to turn FAU Greek, a look at some hot campus fashions, a list of the strangest courses offered in South Florida and more. Don't worry: You don't have to take notes, and you won't be tested on any of this later. You will, however, owe us a kegstand at your next party.
