What the hell is it about our cars that makes it so we just can't leave well enough alone? We buy a perfectly good ride and right away have to start putting stuff on it or taking stuff off it.
It can be something as small as slapping a System of a Down sticker on the back window or as over-the-top as putting a 3,000-watt stereo system and 26-inch wheels on it. Things just aren't right until we do something to personalize our cars.
One thing's for sure, you City Link readers love your vehicles, and City Link loves you readers, so every week, we give you all the chance to show off your wheels on our Readers' Rides page. We've seen everything from Pat Kaveney's blown '71 hemi 'Cuda (pictured) to an '86 VW camper and some simply amazing tuner cars.
We've culled some of the best rides from the past year and present on the following pages the shiniest, fastest, loudest, oddest and just plain sickest rides to grace our magazine.
