DJ Touchtone
Since 1992, DJ Touchtone has been behind his turntables scratching beats. Originally from New York, Touchtone, whose real name is Ludwick Renoit, now calls Miami home. Deeply inspired by the music of Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, he is clearly a purist. He's one of the few DJs left who uses strictly vinyl. He owns about 20,000 records, and his collection is always expanding. Touchtone spins mainly hip-hop and is one of the friendliest, most approachable DJs you'll ever meet. He got his DJ name one night while watching an infomercial that required customers to use a touchtone phone to call in. He loves snacking on salmon and hanging out in the Miami Design District, and there's no one he'd rather chill with than his mama. He can be found behind the decks every Friday night at China White in Fort Lauderdale.
