It took a few years, but the massive club complex at the corner of Broward Boulevard and Southwest Third Avenue finally has a worthy successor to The Edge. In fact, screw The Edge. Revolution is the best thing to hit downtown in a long time. With club nights on Fridays and Saturdays, frequent big-name concerts by everyone from Social Distortion to Snoop Dogg and special events such as City Link's Best of 2005 Cover-Model Search, Revolution has stomped the terra firma like a freaking Godzilla. We've previously tweaked the place's nose for everything from its overpriced drinks to hectic security, but in the end, you get what you pay for. And what you pay for at Revolution is the best club experience north of South Beach and one that could easily go toe-to-toe with most places there.
