Occupying the second floor of a building on Clematis, Release looks down upon its competition with a winner's-eye view. The club's slogan may be "Where the elite come to play," but the velvet rope is pretty flexible and the doormen are -- dare we say? -- nice. One room plays hip-hop and another all styles of dance music. Visiting DJs throughout the year have helped bring in new faces and serious dance fans.
