Granted, you must negotiate the parking lots and garage of Aventura Mall before you get to it, but once you locate the theater (which is near Burdines on the top level), the moviegoing experience it offers is peerless. The theater has the best sound system and screens around. Assuredly, every major release is available on its 24 screens, but the management saves a few theaters for classy little movies, too. The gigantic candy counter sells the requisite treats, which aren't particularly dynamic, but the movie-watching is what counts here. A number of decent restaurants, specializing in everything from sushi to tacos, are conveniently located nearby.
