Langerado Music Festival

If you rule out the usual touring festivals such as Ozzfest and The Warped Tour, Langerado has no competition. That was particularly true this year, when the jam-band-friendly fest moved from downtown Hollywood to Markham Park in Sunrise and expanded from one day to two. The festival stuck to its roots by hosting acts such as Keller Williams; Medeski, Martin and Wood; and The String Cheese Incident, which headlined both nights. At the same time, reggae greats Toots and the Maytals, hip-hop act De La Soul and Jack Johnson wannabe Donovan Frankenreiter all got their time in the sun. Langerado has only gotten bigger and better every year, and this year left us in eager anticipation of Langerado IV: The Revenge, coming this spring to a venue near you.
