Crush
The Rose and Crown Pub, 3680 W. Commercial Blvd., 954/731-6245, www.dancepropaganda.com
Crush has moved from Kalahari Bar to The Rose and Crown to Lush Lounge and back to the R&C in the space of a year for reasons like being too rowdy, too loud or too crowded. But that doesn't keep the party's devoted followers from doing some detective work to see where the next event will take place. Crush's philosophy of cheap libations -- mostly Pabst Blue Ribbon and Orange Crush mystery drinks -- and hot and sweaty dancing seems to fit in with whatever temporary holding spot it finds. DJs spinning a mix of indie, dance, '80s revival and classic soul make sure everyone who attends will be able to dance to at least one song.
