Anyone who doesn't believe that absence makes the heart grow fonder clearly doesn't love crawfish. With mudbugs in season from early winter to midsummer, fans are left to wait six months every year for the ugly but delectable suckers to return. It's a terrible wait, but it's well worth it. The owners of Rosey Baby understand this and accommodate their customers every crawfish season with literal buckets of the Louisiana-raised crustaceans. Boiled live, prepared with Cajun seasonings and served with red potatoes and melted butter, Rosey's crawfish are available in two-, five- and 10-quart buckets, as well as in a sampler basket for the uninitiated. Prices vary depending on the market, but they're always affordable.
