Young, hormone-free roasters that weigh in at 2 to 3 pounds are golden on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and virtually free of excess flab on the bottom. They're priced at $2.69 a pound Monday through Saturday but cost just $2.99 for the entire bird on Sunday. Delaware also sells the best Broaster-style chicken you'll find anywhere in boxes of four and eight pieces. If you prefer to cook your own, there's no better place to stock up on whole breasts, leg quarters, wings, cutlets, necks and, yes, even feet.
