Maybe you just spilled a bit of martini on yourself at Trina, the hotel's outstanding bar and restaurant. In any case, the hand-washing experience in the first-floor bathroom of The Atlantic is unparalleled, mainly because of the absence of sinks. Water from the faucet simply flows onto the gray-marble counter, then toward the wall, where it disappears down a crevice. But when the cheapest rooms cost well over $200 a night, you expect these sorts of things.
