Feeling a little stressed? Got your chi all out of whack? Load up the car, head to Delray Beach and spend the afternoon at the most tranquil place in South Florida. With 200 acres of Japanese-style gardens, the Morikami will make you forget the bustling world just outside its walls. The Morikami has been a center for Japanese arts and culture since 1977. It hosts art exhibitions on topics such as origami, 16th-century Japanese armor and 18th-century dolls. Walk through the gardens and feed the koi, or enjoy some sushi on the patio overlooking the grounds. If you can't find peace of mind here, give up; you're incapable of happiness.
