Wynwood is bordered by I-95 on the west, U.S. 1 on the east, I-195 on the north and I-395 on the south. The neighborhood is home to 40 galleries, museums, studios, alternative spaces and art collections, many of them cutting-edge and often brilliant. From 7 to 10 p.m. the second Saturday of every month, these spaces are open to the public for a free gallery walk. Be sure to visit the TransEAT/Food Culture Museum, Bakehouse Art Complex, Damien B. Contemporary Art Center, DOT Fifty-One and Locust Projects. A comprehensive map, with information on each gallery, is available on the Web site.
