Antone "Deuce" Smith

With 2,814 yards and 44 touchdowns as a senior, Antone Smith easily earned Florida's Mr. Football award this year. But even off the field, Smith has been all showtime. Last February, on national letters-of-intent day, he held both his family and the press captive by laying out letters from several schools, including Florida State and the University of Miami, and proceeding to toy with which one he'd sign. The normally two-minute endeavor turned into a 20-minute event. In the end, he went with Florida State. Legendary FSU coach Bobby Bowden immediately called the new star to discuss -- among other things -- the possibility of unretiring the school's No. 2 jersey previously worn by Deion Sanders. Sounds fitting.
