Jess Elizabeth, a certified yoga instructor and registered yoga therapist, teaches an HIV-positive class that is a place of support, not only for the immune system but for the HIV/AIDS community itself. Gentle postures are combined with visualizations and breathing to help the body and mind relax, revitalize and recharge. Props such as pillows and herbal eye packs are also used to assist the process of physical and emotional healing. Classes are offered twice a week. Anyone living with HIV or AIDS is welcome. The class is free, but donations are welcome. Jess also specializes in pre- and postnatal group and private classes.
