The Internet may be sucking the lifeblood from print publications, but you wouldn't know it at Bob's. Now in its 30th year at the same location, this cramped, cavelike newsstand is stuffed to the point of bursting with books, magazines and newspapers on every subject imaginable. With softcover books such as The Silent Orgasm and The Citizens' Guide To Stopping Suicide Attackers sardined on the shelves, the stock literally goes from floor to ceiling. The three skinny aisles are further narrowed by the overflow of glossies, and the glut includes a spectrum of mainstream magazines, foreign newspapers, obscure comics and graphic novels. Motorcyclists and gun owners won't find a better source for their reading materials, while porn junkies can feed the need with a secluded section of magazines and DVDs.
