Best Way To Support the Troops

Donate a telephone calling card through the United States Postal Service

It's as easy as buying a book of stamps and almost as cheap. For as little as $10, you can buy a long-distance calling card at a United States post office and have it sent to American military personnel serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. The Postal Service provides the envelope and postage, and the card can be designated to the service branch of your choosing. Area post offices also have donation jars onsite for people who want to drop in a buck or two. That money is then pooled to buy additional cards.
