Neptune Fireworks
768 E. Dania Beach Blvd., Dania Beach, 954/920-6770, www.neptunefireworks.com

Nothing denotes celebration or completes a good party like a sweet fireworks display. And no other store offers a selection as large and diverse as Neptune Fireworks in Dania Beach. As the biggest fireworks superstore in Florida, Neptune boasts more than 1,100 square feet of various fountains, sparklers, mortar kits, rockets, Roman candles, aerial repeaters and just about anything else you can imagine. Neptune has goods for any type of festivity, from Fourth of July get-togethers to corporate parties. The store's magnum opus, the Big Band assortment, contains six 500-gram repeaters, four 12-pack mortar kits, additional small mortar shells, four shot tubes and two festival balls for $800; separately, the items cost $1,154. For people unfamiliar with the fireworks argot, the package is more than plenty and well worth the price. If you find yourself heading to Neptune for a national holiday, go at least five days in advance. During the hectic days that immediately precede a holiday, lines wrap around the warehouse's corner and, depending on the time of year, may leave you in the cold or sweltering heat for an hour or more.
