Last year's winner has not rested on its haunches, as owner Kelley Ditto and her pet-loving staff at Holly Acres have been busy creating a pet-friendly water wonderland to complement their from-the-heart boarding and grooming services. Yes, the kennel still has the famous Hilton Room, which features a comfortable raised bed, an indoor-outdoor private running space and one-on-one playtime breaks. Holly Acres recently added the Lazy River Romp, an elevated, winding river of filtered freshwater featuring islands, wading ponds, waterfalls, gently sloped sides and enough room to please even the most demanding dog. With water depths that vary from 8 to 22 inches, this oasis is also veterinarian-approved. We've said before that Holly Acres is a full-service, loving sanctuary where your dog or cat can find peace, contentment, a chew toy and a caring environment. Now, your pet can take an island vacation, as well.
