Some people may argue that the apocalypse began with the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11 and the belief by much of the nation that Saddam Hussein had something to do with it. Others are waiting for an even more profound day of reckoning, such as an alien invasion or a collision with an errant comet. Whatever the case, you can never be too prepared, and there's no better place to stock up than Bass Pro Shops. Start with camouflage clothing, sleeping bags, firearms, fishing poles and a 150-quart cooler that can keep ice for five days.
