McDonald's Air and Sea Show
May 6 and 7, Fort Lauderdale beach, Nationalsalute.com

Many Americans never feel more united than when in the presence of our military, and nothing brings out South Florida's patriotism like the McDonald's Air and Sea Show. For the past 12 years, locals and visitors have filled the eroding sands of Fort Lauderdale beach to be shocked and awed by the latest supersonic examples of American might. The choreographed aerial stunts and simulated beach invasions show just what this country is capable of when it commits its mind and its money -- the 2006 Pentagon budget is $419 billion, not counting Iraq spending -- to achieving something. The 13th edition is tentatively scheduled for May 5 and 6, 2007.
