Yes, Langerado has won this category for several years running, but no other music festival in South Florida comes close to it in terms of lineup or logistics. With an army of port-a-potties and beer tents, the festival rarely requires concertgoers to stand in line, whether buying food or drink or relieving themselves thereof. And with an impressive lineup of bands anchored by Southern-fried rockers The Black Crowes, space-rock weirdoes The Flaming Lips, alt-rock darlings Wilco and slide-guitar king Ben Harper, Langerado's lineup in 2006 was far and away the best of its four-year existence. Look for a return to Markham Park March 9-11, 2007, and a continuation of the trend of each Langerado being bigger and better than the last.
