Guido's Meat Market and Deli
78 E. McNab Road, Pompano Beach, 954/782-6003
The only good reason not to be on Guido's Family Meat Plan is if you happen to be a vegetarian. For anyone who dines on the flesh of dead animals, Guido's has the best deal around on the freshest meats. The biggest bargain, designed for a family of four, costs $74.95 and includes four New York strip steaks, eight pork chops, a 3 1/2-pound chicken, a 2-pound London broil, a 3-pound pot roast, four chicken cutlets, a 3-pound pork roast, a pound of bacon, eight hot dogs and 2 pounds of ground beef. Nestled on the far side of a strip mall, Guido's isn't readily noticeable from McNab Road, but even if you're not carnivorous, it's worth seeking out. Alng with the aforementioned meat plans, Guido's offers excellent sandwiches and rows and rows of jarred and packaged Italian foodstuffs shoppers will find in few other places in South Florida.
