For 12 years, this authentic, European-style greenmarket has sold some of the freshest and best-tasting locally grown produce, herbs and seafood throughout the fall and winter. (It will open for the 2006-07 season Saturday [Oct. 21].) More than 60 vendors peddle their goods here, and after spending a Saturday morning (8 a.m.-1 p.m.) strolling the market, you could take home plants, fresh-baked breads, flowers or the best barrel-cured pickles this side of Brooklyn.
