Best Catch-and-Cook Restaurant

October 18 2006

Hurricane Alley
529 E. Ocean Ave., Boynton Beach, 561/364-4008

Filled with hurricane memorabilia, this poor man's theme restaurant boasts one of the best raw bars in South Florida. But the real reason to visit Hurricane Alley is evident in its motto: "You hook 'em; we cook 'em." Located near the Boynton Marina, the restaurant will cook freshly caught fish free of charge. Throw in side dishes of pasta salad, French fries or coleslaw, and you're all set. If you're not in a fishing mood, grab a 16-ounce Yeungling draft for $1.25 during happy hour to wash down a cracked-conch sandwich.
