The Vietnamese beef soup at Pho Nam Do is in that league. It's the kind of soup you just want to hunker down with, letting the fumes and spices seep into every pore and orifice. Well, maybe orifice isn't the right word, but once you dump a plateful of cilantro, bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeņo peppers into the hot bowl of rice noodles and rare beef, you'll never want to come up for air.
