Yard House is known for two things -- beer and classic rock -- but the beer selection is so varied and extensive that even Eric Clapton will start to sound good after a while. The ale list includes more than 130 choices, from Abbott to Young's Special London, with some varieties, including Delirium Tremens and Piraat Ale, served in goblets. The best part is it's all on tap. This place is not fooling around: The pipes extending from the bar to more than 130 kegs in the back room look like the plumbing aboard the Queen Mary 2. A sampler platter of drafts is always available, but you can never go wrong with something from Lost Coast Brewery or Dogfish. Top it all off with a beer float for dessert.
