People were literally knocking one another down to get into this show, which took place during the spring Fashion Week in Miami Beach. Designed by Traver Rains and ice skater turned club kid Richie Rich, the Heatherette line is known for street-chic-meets-glam ensembles for both men and women. Model Tyson Beckford, Katrina Campins from The Apprentice and drag queens Lady Bunny and Elaine Lancaster were among the lucky few who got an early glimpse of the line's 2006 fall/winter collection. The show's highlights included socks with piano-key patterns, platform shoes, dresses adorned with sequined silhouettes of the New York City skyline and a surprise appearance by transsexual idol Amanda Lepore.
