Funny cars, street bikes, hot rods, jet trucks, wheelstanders, karts and just about every other fuel-powered racing vehicle produce a perpetual roar at this premier motorsports park. Open year-round, the 200-acre Moroso site offers the widest variety of competitive racing in South Florida with its 12,000-seat quarter-mile drag strip, the 2.25-mile road course and 0.9-mile cart track. The tracks play host to local racers who compete on a weekly basis and to national circuit races for the National Hot Rod Association Sport Compact Nationals, Jet and Truck Nationals and others. And the place keeps getting better with age, with new grandstand seating, the freshly paved kart track and, coming soon, a motocross track.
