This cozy shop is a great place to take a date. Forget the clichéd flowers and dazzle your partner with a hand-painted creation before the night is over. Joe Picasso's offers dozens of ceramic figurines, bowls and plates from which to choose. You can also make mosaic-tile picture frames or sculpt a piece of pottery. A member of Joe Picasso's staff will set you up at a table with all the materials you'll need to get started on your project and provide a brief demonstration, but you can request assistance at any time during the process. Studio time costs $7 per hour for singles, $10 an hour for couples, and does not include the price of the piece, tax and gratuity. Best of all, the studio's café offers a menu of salads, wraps and sandwiches priced less than $10, so you won't have to take your date out for an expensive Las Olas dinner.
