Choosing a winner for this category was a no-brainer after the Heat won the NBA championship title in June. Yet the team's competition for this category was pretty slim, including the Florida Panthers, a minor-league basketball team and two arena football teams that didn't even finish their seasons. Despite the Heat's supremacy, the ballers almost made us rethink our decision during the first playoff series against the Chicago Bulls. The series was tied 2-2, and the promise of a league title for the Heat appeared as if it would end in disappointment yet again. But then, a franchise that had tried so hard to push the proverbial rock up the hill finally got there. The Heat finished off the Bulls, then the New Jersey Nets, the Detroit Pistons and the Dallas Mavericks in the finals. We're enjoying the view from the bandwagon.
