Sisters Simone and Yanique Hylton opened Natural Trend Setters in 1997 with the idea of providing a place for natural-hairstyle-wearers to maintain their look. While Yanique handles the business aspect of the operation at the shop, which also offers nail and facial services, Simone can tame even the most unruly head of hair. Specializing in ethnic hairstyling, she can hook up a relaxer or a weave just as well as she can take control of a thick mane of dreadlocks.
