When a City Link staffer was in need of a new bike to take on his regular excursions into the Everglades, he found Big Wheel more than met his needs. Its wide assortment of two-wheelers accommodates a range of budgets, and our colleague truly appreciated the no-pressure salesmanship. Serious cyclists may find themselves wiping drool from their chins as they contemplate a $4,000 sleek, Specialized S-Works racing bike with wheels so thin they could cut pizza, or perhaps a $1,600 Cannondale six-speed. On the other end of the spectrum, Big Wheel also carries low-riding Diamondback Drifter Choppers; Hampton Cruisers such as the wicked-looking, black-aluminum Piranha; and wide-tired, comfortable-looking Sun Cycles, each for less than $300. Big Wheel also carries just about everything bikers could want to strap on their rides or themselves and houses a repair shop in the rear of the store.
