Once upon a time there was a store called Scrubbing Bubbles. Next door to it was a shop called Baby Bubbles. The co-owners of both stores, Dana Davidoff and Wayne Abernathy, knocked down the wall separating them and joined forces to open Bubbles and Bubbles. Lovely-smelling items including candles, lotions, incense, Alora room diffusers and soaps fill the right side of the store. But just when you think you've discovered the perfect scent, another aroma beckons you. The Home Thymes collection, for instance, is irresistible and features apricot-quince, kumquat-lime and lavender-bergamot fragrances. Bubbles and Bubbles also carries unscented items such as composition books, magnets, scrapbooking supplies and the popular $10 Zulu-grass necklaces made by Masai women in Kenya.
