Not only will you find some of the biggest belt buckles in Davie at the enormously
popular Round Up, you will also find the largest dance floor in town. Perfect
for line-dancin’, two-steppin’, boot-scootin’ and whatever awkward
movements patrons make during that awful Rednex version of “Cotton-Eyed Joe,”
which unfortunately gets played here far too often, the dance floor at Round Up
can get as hot as the inside of a rodeo barrel. Open Wednesdays through Sundays,
the club offers line-dance lessons throughout the week, a ladies’ night Wednesdays
and a tropical beach bash Fridays. Round Up also presents concerts by touring
country artists such as Jimmy Wayne (Sept. 19), Mark Wills (Nov. 14) and Blake
Shelton (Dec. 12).
