If you’ve walked down Himmarshee’s recently uprooted sidewalks on a
typical Friday or Saturday night, you know what we’re talking about. Himmarshee
Village is where you go to meet other people who are looking to meet other people.
And despite its reputation as something of a yuppie corral, Himmarshee has a little
something for everyone — or at least, for most straight cliques on the social
ladder. Sure, the fashionable young professionals have their places with Rush
Street and Voodoo Lounge, but the pierced and tattooed can find a home at Tavern
213 or The Poor House. Now, get out there and hook up, ’cause, hey, isn’t
that what life’s all about? Gotta keep the species goin’ and all that.
