in the middle and tart up the crosswalks with red-brick pavers, but one constant
will always remain: Ocean’s 11 will quench the thirsty day and night. Open
24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, and closing only between the hours of 6 and
11 a.m. on weekdays, the venerable drinking establishment provides sustenance
long after most of its neighbors have stacked the chairs on the tables and bellowed,
“Last call!” Oh sure, the nicotine Nazis tried to push Ocean’s
around when smoking was outlawed in establishments that also serve food. So what
did Ocean’s owners do? They knocked down a wall and created an open-air patio.
Still serving four-for-one drinks during its round-the-clock happy hour, and giving
away free rounds with its behind-the-bar roulette wheel, Ocean’s 11 celebrates
the rebel spirit of the Frank Sinatra movie for which it was named.
