Yusuf Malik Shabazz and Terese Hill, better known as Profet and Chunky, play host to an eclectic group of poets and spoken-word artists who unleash their thoughts on nearly every conceivable topic Fridays at a little restaurant in the Tarpon River neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. The night of passion, performance and poetry gets rolling around 8:30, and a little later for their poetry slams, which are held the last Friday of every month. Admission to either event is $3.
