After 20 years as a certified public accountant, Carmen Garson followed her
dream and opened the Goddess Store in 2002. This is definitely the place to
go if you happen to be looking for a very spangly-sparkly belly-dancing outfit.
They also stock statues of goddesses (and even a few gods), exotic jewelry,
art prints and plenty of essential oils, candles and incense. The Goddess Studio
at the back of the store hosts classes in belly-dancing, flamenco, tango, Middle
Eastern drumming, Hatha and Kundalini yoga, and even Zen body-sculpting.
