Anyone lucky enough to live within the city limits of Fort Lauderdale can forgo
the hefty parking fees with a card that gets him into the South Beach parking
lot for a buck rather than the usual $6. The card, which costs $3.18 and is
good for two years, quickly pays for itself. The application, available online
(see above) must be brought to the Parking Services Division with proof of residency
(a copy of a lease or a utility bill), vehicle registration and driver’s
license.
