Evan Evans

Fort Lauderdale firefighter Evans competed in his first triathlon when he was just 15, and now, at age 30, he's showing no sign of slowing down. At a robust 6 feet 2 and 202 pounds, Evans became an elite triathlete during the past few years, despite having to run, swim and bike long distances with a set of knees that have been operated on five times. Evans is always among the top overall finishers in local triathlons, but the Boca Raton resident is virtually unbeatable in his "Clydesdale" weight category (190-pounds-plus), winning his first Clydesdale World Championship in 2005. He's also familiar to City Link readers for being featured in our recent Hot Professionals Issue.
