its a bit TOO Exagerated with its rules for Example its ok to NOT let the pets on the sand.
i Understand But not letting them walk on the boardwalk is way too much Exaggeration i got a ticket for Joggig with my dog at midnite in the board walk not even on the sand I mean hes my running buddy. And people love taking there pets on the boardwwalk makes the city look more family & happy orienteed. I mean not letting a dog walk on concrete IS CRAZY TOO MUCH DICTATORSHIP!!!!!!! bY THE BOOK .. i

I love Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. It is great for walkers and bikers. The only thing I would like to see is for the boardwalk to be pet friendly. I totally agree with not allowing pets on the sand...but feel that pets on leashes would be wonderful on the Boardwalk. Ft. Lauderdale allows it at their Sunday Jazz Festivals and there is never a problem that I can identify. People love spending time with their pets and the pets seem to get along and I have never seen feces left anywhere there.

I love this beach... I live in Hollywood and when ever I want to relax a feel at ease I come to the beach.. I buy me a Soft Ice Cream and walk by the broad walk and enjoy the people and their multi activities.

Absolutely no, Hollywood smells like alcohol everywhere you go, I would not take my child to this beach. Also the crowd is more like old timers dressed in bike attire.

after living in Miami all my life, we chose to move to Hollywood, We are about 2 miles from the beach and love it. You have miles of open beach, the broadwalk where you can ride a bike, rollerblade (after Garlfield St), walk along and people watch. You also have the option of stopping to get a bite at many of the diversely ethnic restaurants or if not brown bag it. There are various activities fit for all ages. A great place to live and enjoy life.

This is a family beach in every way. It is a fun beach with lots of restruants with outside tables. It must be the best as we get people from Miami, ciies west and north. Always crowded during tourist season. I bought an apt. here the first day I saw the beach. And i was just visiting,
